How does the AI feedback work?
Your 75-second recording is sent securely to our AI model (Google Gemini via Firebase AI Logic). The AI transcribes what you said, evaluates pronunciation, grammar, fluency, vocabulary, and naturalness, and returns structured feedback in seconds. Your audio is not stored after analysis.
Why does the app ask for microphone access?
Microphone access is required to record your spoken English. Recordings are processed by the AI for feedback only and are deleted from the device after analysis. You can revoke microphone access at any time in iOS Settings → PanicTalk → Microphone.
What does the 7-day free trial include?
Full PanicTalk Pro access: unlimited AI-generated scenarios, deep pronunciation feedback, vocabulary saving, and the local progress dashboard. You will not be charged during the trial. You can cancel anytime through your Apple ID account settings.
How do I cancel my subscription?
On your iPhone: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → PanicTalk → Cancel Subscription. You will keep access until the end of your current billing period. You can also open PanicTalk and tap the "PanicTalk Pro · Manage" pill on the Home screen to open the in-app subscription manager.
How do I restore my subscription on a new device?
Open PanicTalk on the new device, tap the "PanicTalk Pro · Manage" pill on the Home screen, and choose Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple ID that was used for the original purchase.
Why didn't I get a free trial?
Apple only allows one free trial per Apple ID per subscription group, ever. If you used a PanicTalk trial in the past — even years ago — you won't be eligible for a new one. This is an Apple policy, not ours.
What languages does PanicTalk support?
The app's interface and learning content are in English (this is intentional — passive exposure is part of the learning). The app provides on-demand Spanish translations for vocabulary and scenarios when you long-press a word.
Will my saved vocabulary sync across devices?
Currently, vocabulary and progress data are stored locally on each device. iCloud sync is on our roadmap.
¿Cómo cancelo mi suscripción?
En tu iPhone: Ajustes → [Tu nombre] → Suscripciones → PanicTalk → Cancelar Suscripción. Mantienes acceso hasta el final del período actual. También puedes abrir PanicTalk y tocar "PanicTalk Pro · Manage" en la pantalla principal para gestionar tu suscripción.
¿Por qué pide acceso al micrófono?
Para grabar tu respuesta en inglés. El audio se procesa con IA para darte feedback y se elimina del dispositivo después del análisis. No guardamos grabaciones.
¿Cómo restauro mi suscripción en un dispositivo nuevo?
Abre PanicTalk en el nuevo dispositivo, toca "PanicTalk Pro · Manage" en el Home y elige Restaurar compras. Tienes que estar con el mismo Apple ID que usaste para la compra original.
¿Por qué no recibí trial gratuito?
Apple permite solo un trial gratuito por Apple ID por grupo de suscripción, una vez en la vida. Si ya usaste un trial de PanicTalk antes — incluso hace años — no eres elegible. Es política de Apple, no nuestra.
PanicTalk ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the PanicTalk mobile application (the "App").
This data lives only on your device. We have no access to it.
PanicTalk is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Voice recordings are processed and discarded in transit. On-device data persists until you delete the app or clear it through the in-app settings. RevenueCat retains subscription metadata as long as you have an active or recent subscription.
You can request information about, or deletion of, any data associated with you by emailing agamezdev@gmail.com. You can also delete the App at any time, which clears all on-device data.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated through the App.

By downloading or using PanicTalk (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and Apple's standard App Store EULA.

PanicTalk uses AI to evaluate your spoken English. The feedback is intended as a practice and self-study tool, not a certified language assessment, professional evaluation, or replacement for human instruction. AI evaluations may contain errors. Do not rely on PanicTalk feedback for academic placement, professional certification, or other consequential decisions.
The App, its design, content, and underlying technology are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. AI-generated scenarios and feedback delivered to you may be used personally; you may not redistribute them.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to the App is limited to the amount you paid for your subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Colombia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Bogotá, Colombia, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
We may update these Terms. Continued use of the App after a material change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
